God is amazing

I was randomly browsing my facebook when i came across someone's superwall with a posted Youtube video. This video showed a 5 year old girl named Yoo Ye Eun who was born blind and is talented in music. She was only 3 when she heard her mom humming a song and she just followed her tune and played it on a piano. Never had she learn piano before, never had any influence. Later her mom let her listen to those piano musics from Mozart and she could just rehearse the whole song out. I wonder who are her biological parents as Ye Eun was adopted.

I guess in many ways, God is always fair. To make Ye Eun blind He gave her a talent that nobody could achieve. A talent that was given since birth and as she laid her hands on the piano, she could rehearse a music without any difficulty. When I look at her tiny hands as she presses the piano key, I feel so touched and grateful that God has given her such talent.

Beyond our control

There are many things in life where it is out of our control.
When it comes to changing a person's view, changing a person's life. It is not our duty to do it. All we can do is only advice and encourage, at some point, we have to stop advising. Because it became a threat to them, and they find it annoying.
Sometimes I wish i can just shut up and not talk about stuffs over and over again. Just shut! or help me shut it. There are many things that I want in this life where people can't give me or can't give me just yet. Why do I demand so much... Many times I think I'm not even worth it to be standing at that position because I am not giving too much joy to the person I love but putting them into a situation where they feel much pain and burden. And sometimes I wonder if I will be demanded more in the future.

You can't change a person but you can change yourself.
Stop being so demanding.

Can time go faster?

If you read my previous post about the Mortein Fly Sticker thing. Damn that thing sucks like hell. Don't ever buy it. I stick with Fly spray in the end. I think after a while, those insecticides got blown off by the wind or got melted from the heat. Doesn't work anymore, or the flies just go smarter and decided not to land on a flower. I stuck 2 on the table in the end, no flies approached them. Great~

Getting sick of studying, seriously. I wish time will travel really fast... next year mid 2009 I'll graduate. I really can't wait til then. Hate rushing assignments, reading, memorizing. Hate all those stuffs now. I used to love studying, never have i hate studying. But I'm getting sick of it, now that I'm doing Masters. Even after I graduate in 2009, I have 1 year of training in the pharmacy, and then a final examination and the viva voce. That'll make it 2010. Hopefully I pass them all, and I shall be a qualified pharmacist. I really hope I could speed things up. I really hope to return to Melbourne either. Perth is too hot and boring. Really hope to return to Lawry's side too.

Work at Guardian is still cool, lots more counseling involving the OTC products. =)

Chinese New Year

Yay, I passed my driving! Got my license, woo hoo!! Vrrooom Vrooom!!
Not to mention, Lawry is here too.. Woohoo! XD Got to spend valentine with him.
Stupid Tiger Airways, really dodgy. Lawry's suitcase was completely smashed, I don't know how they took care of things.

Chinese New year in Perth sureeee is boring. Everybody was working, no songs, no musics, no visiting, no open house. Sighss..

New job in Guardian was alright. =D No more doing weird stuffs in my old working place. Did lots of scripts and also I realized something; we often meet dodgy costumers in Chemist Warehouse. Many customers that will come back and wanting to get their 5 cents change back due to overcharged. Customers that start demanding many things. Customers that start to complain at small little things. Whereas in Guardian Pharmacy, I think the circle of customers coming in are able to afford things more, (since it is really more expensive). Customers tend to be less dodgy. U'll know what I mean. =)

I bought this really interesting thing from the market. It is a called a Fly Sticker by Mortein. It is a sticker containing insecticide on a colorful picture. According to the packet, the colorful picture will attract the flies. Once a fly landed on it, it will put its icky tongue onto the colorful picture (bait) and start licking it. It flies off, in just few seconds, it fainted onto the floor. It actually works pretty well. But you gotta know where to place the sticker. I followed the instruction and placed it on the window, but the fly never gets there. They buzz around their usually place for few hours. I got pissed off and took the sticker off and slap it on the table. Immediately the fly saw it and was attracted to it immediately. One by one (there were like 10), they died.

Of course, if you have a kid at home, be careful when using this product. Babies are attracted to colorful items as well.

I'm a dork

Had my driving test at Willagee, guess what? I failed... in 10 minutes! MUAHAHAHAHA! How is that possible, people been asking me. I don't know what the F was wrong with me but I basically stuffed up everything. I got a complete 0. I didn't even get a single 'tick'. I was on section 1 and had 3 crosses on the boxes (we got 5 sections to complete) and he told me to drive back to the center and pull over. "You Failed"
How stupid can I go? I don't know whether i was too nervous or too relax. Hell yeah. I've been driving for nearly 6 years and I still can fail all these simple rules.

1. Did not turn on my signal and do head shake when I overtake the parked cars on the road that was blocking my way.
2. Did not stop when I see a STOP sign.
3. Stopping unnecessary at a junction when it was my road.

What the hell was I doing I don't know. That old bastard was also really sarcastic in the beginning. "Is english your first language?" "Yes~" "Were you born to speak English then?" "er, not really." "Then English is not your first language!"
Shit racist, my face look asian doesn't mean I can't speak English.
Ok, but the problem is still, I FAIL THE TEST!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$

I have very good news for myself as well. I got a job! At Guardian Pharmacy, time to move on, quit Chemist Warehouse. Guardian Pharmacy is just 10 minutes from my house, I get to learn how to dispense, how to do consultation! Just what I need! Thank God! Signed the contract, called Ivana and all good. Final week at Chemist Warehouse this Saturday and Guardian Pharmacy!!! =) Happy!

WA license plate!

Went for my theory test today. WOW, i got 29/30. lol... it was easy but. Now gotta find out where I can get the fastest driving test, wanna get a driving license asap. Then i can go to pub without my passport too. Or buy beer and ppl don't ask me show him my ID, and then i say... "I got nadda". And they say "its an offence for us to sell beer to underage." Or go to supermarket to buy kitchen knife and they say to me at the counter, "I gotta check your ID coz we can't sell knife to under 18." "I don't carry my passport around dude and I am way over 18 years old."

Oh yeah, Lawry coming 9/feb for a week, the day my aunt gonna leave Perth. Busy busy, but at least I got to spend valentines with my baby. 어머님 아버님 신경스지마세요.

I'm looking for a 2nd pharmacy job, somebody hire me please. I gotta work over the counter, not being chuck outside the counter and do stock take, do labels, do signs, arranging the shelf, do the tills, sell perfumes. I'm a pharmacy student, I got drug knowledge all over my head. Throw me at the dispensing area please! Working once a week is not enough for me to eat. I'm hungry. =(
